GLOD is a new modern culture artist. He was born in 1994 in Poland and currently works and resides in Vienna, Austria. He works with different art movements inspired by pop art and urban environments. Using varied materials (including stencils, spray paint, epoxies, oil paintings, varnishes, and newspapers) to subversively depict various iconic pop culture characters.
GLOD’s works are influenced by street art, graffiti, and painting, which create a tension that not only functions as a tool for inspiration but also allows the artist a wide range of creativity. The pop-cultural references are an important instrument for GLOD to investigate, visualize and also question society.
Within the shortest time he had solo exhibitions in Switzerland, Austria and Germany and has worked with international brands like Red Bull, Uber, Deloitte, Rauch and the cult store Solebox on several design projects. In 2022, exhibitions in Dubai, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and Warsaw are planned.
